Michelle Strause practiced law from 1986 until December 2021 when she retired. Michelle is now a professional mediator who strives to provide a private, respectful method to assist people in achieving an amicable compromise in family law disputes. Mediation is important and can be an effective method to assist individuals who are unable to efficiently communicate. Mediation can establish a common ground between the parties and save thousands of dollars in litigation. Michelle offers mediation services for pre-marital negotiations, divorce, child support, paternity, and custody/visitation issues.

After graduating from Hendrix College, Michelle received her Juris Doctorate at the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Michelle has over 30 years of experience practicing law, with an emphasis in Family Law, Adoptions, Divorces, and related litigation. She is a Certified Mediator/Third Party Neutral and is also certified in Collaborative Law by the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Michelle is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association Committee on Professional Conduct, a member of Collaborative Family Lawyers of Arkansas, Inc., and a past president of the Garland County Bar Association.
